Wanting to upgrade
 

Got my first chance to ride in a 31 Sonic last month, what a boat!!! I am determined to sell my 2002 25 Baja Outlaw SST and upgrade (want a 31 with twin 496mag ho or 502's). Financing more power is a mess and I do not want SC's (the 454's from what I am reading are okay but a little slower at 385hp). Have my boat listed on this site. Wish me luck, the market is slow (wish I could trade up now but do not know where or who I could work through on this).

Appreciate that insight on contacting the factory (not wanting to go new-depreciation and sales tax are a killer as we all know). A nice 2000-2003 would be sweet! Thank You again.

gcoutlaw the sonic factory has a used 04 31 sonic that was traded in. also check amaerican performance boats, offshore
performance boats and east coast marine for used boats. also alot on nice ones here on oso in the classifieds. just bought an 02 in may from oso member bn what a beautiful boat you won't be dissappointed !!

is the new Sonic dealer for the Chesapeake Bay area. They are a GREAT group of people that I have known for years.

Have you checked out Active Thunder? The 32/33 is comparable to the 31SS, and has a bit more to offer. Let me know if I can be of any help.

My '98 is in new condition but does have the sc's...I'll let it go for 70k

Thanks man...I think I found one in South Florida (502's or 496mag ho's), could not handle the maintenance on the SC or if something went wrong...

IMO you would be better off with a freshwater boat with 525SC's than a salt water boat.
Carrboy's is a sweet ride.
