Sonic T.V......???

Anyone know where I can get a new Flat screen T.V. for my 2002 358.........I know the model name is Flexvision which I think was made by Audiovox, but I can't seem to find it online. The boat I just bought has everything except the actual TV. It was missing when I got it.........I would love to just slip a new one in its spot without doing any cutting or filling..........thanks in advance........................................... ..................John

I'd find something else anyway...there is probably a good reason it isn't in there:D
NEVER had any luck with those.

Just bought a 42 SS (1998) with the flexvision TV. I have not checked everything out yet but it looks like the TV is toast (flashing on and off and making lots of noises). It looks old and hokey anyway. Did the 29 Westinghouse fit in the factory cutout or did you have to modify?

I have a 17" Sanyo bolted to the exterior closet wall on my 386 (factory install). I've taken some pretty hard hits on landing after getting air and the TV has held securely. Never had any trouble with it operating either. I'm sure they have larger screens.

the 19" Westinghouse has not been drilled into the closet wall. We use the stand it came on and always put the TV in the dock box when we leave the dock. This has worked out very well for us.

Hey guys are the Westinghouse and Sanyo 12V sets or are you using an inverter?

I called a local repair shop to look at the Flexvision TV and he did not want to touch it as he did not service the brand:angry-smiley-055: .

I have the same one in our 386. It worked fine for a long time (Until the Chicago Poker Run- YeeHaa). I took it apart and there is a flat connector behind the back cover that is only taped down. Re-connected and it works fine. It could be the same problem.
