does any one have the specs on a 1989 28ss. Also how fast with a single 502? How much HP to see 70?:D

Sold a '91 w/502 carb/Bravo....went 55-56. In '03, a twin 350 Mag/MPI Bravo boat would just do 70. Never saw a single 28 do 70, but I'd imagine 600hp would get you pretty close.

By-the-way...the twin sbc 28's are alot nicer to drive, and handle well around the docks.

My 95 28ss with twin SBCs (260HP each) would do 60. The twins
do make it easier to dock. |
