With the size of the boat, twin small blocks is the way to go. Lighter than big blocks and two screws over a single engine setup. Tied up with one at Raystown lake and he stroked the 350's and says it's running awesome.... don't have any real numbers for WOT.

Single 502 boat on a good day = 60mph
(2) 350Mag/MPI/Bravo = 65-68mph(best pkg.)
(2) 6.2MX = 67-70mph (Lots more $ per performance)
They made some w/ T-BB's...faster, but tougher to drive because of heavy stern.

im looking at 3 right now one with 350's one with 454's(already ruled that out) and one with a single 502. I like the 350's but it has alpha's and i would like to stroke or whipple the engines soon after. I am kind of leaning to the single 502 and a blower. Im not really looking to go much faster than 70,anything over is ok but as long as i can run say 60 in some chop i'll be happy
