26 496HO Speed?
 

What kind of speeds? I was looking at them and 28 Sunsations.

I like the 26 Sonic lake cumberland has listed

63-65mph with a 496HO
68-71mph with a 500EFI
72-74mph with a 525EFI

26 Sonic
 

Had a 2000 with a new 496 HO and Bravo 1 with 24 pitch bravo 1 prop. Best we saw in salt water with a little chop was 62.

There were 2 of those locally. 1 with a 500EFI that would do around 75 and 1 with 496 that was around 67-68....

I looked at doing a sonic 31 or a/t 32 this year. I like them both.

My 1999 26' with a 500EFI would only turn 72mph with a labbed 24" B1 prop. It would not spin up a 26".

hmmm... The one here had an XR drive, but not sure of the prop. It belonged to a member here jlsnydertyper. It sold last year and he doesn't get on here much anymore.

Stage 1 looks complete. :D What are you doing to it? I'll have a turn key 550hp 496 available by the end of this year (maybe sooner if the deal is right). She has about 15 hours (after the BES/Raylar rebuild). I scratched last summer, but the itch is stronger than ever...a bigger boat is immanent. The bigger boat will have little twins or something blue and I won't need this engine. If you have any interest, shoot me a pm.
