Best prop for Sonic '98 42SS with HP 500's?
 

What props are best for this set up? 500's freshened last year.

I'd say 24 or 26 four blade. We had 22's on ours until we repowered then we went with 24's. I'm running 28's on my 45

Thanks. The boat came with 24's when I bought it last year which worked fine with the tired motors. With the motors now fresh I am going to try a pair of 26's later this week. I am also going to try a set of Hydromotive 27's.

I just pulled the Silent Choice off my 26 including the Stock Cast Iron Manifold and Risers, added EMI Thunders, K&N Airfilter, new Plugs/wires/Cap and rotor.

Was able to get 63 out of her last year with full water, half tank of gas and a 22 pitch Bravo 1.

Hit the Rev limiter last Friday at 5200 only getting to 59 with no water and light on Gas.

Anyone have a 24 pitch Bravo 1 in good condition they are looking to get rid of?
