Hallo.

What power engines are you running? What year boat?
|
What drives also?
|
Hallo. Sorry for bad info. The engines is 454 with 420 megablower 650hk/ea
and the drives are bravo 1, 1.36 ratio with nose cones. Boat is from -90 hope for god reply now Regards Goran .. sweden |
Bravo 26 is a good place to start
|
What pitch props are the mirage's?
There are some recent threads on the 35 running 5 blade setups... |
I think he is running an older model 35SS
|
Besides the transom notch years, isn't the 35ss and 358 hulls the same running surface?
|
Similar yes, the deck on the 35SS is lower than on the 358. Also the newer version is lighter.
|
26 or 28 bravo 1 prop
|
With some of the problems they have had with the 35 and there notches you might be better off to call Julie at Throttle up and get a suggestion on a 5 bladed prop. They have the test it out program. She worked with Mindi at Dollar Offshore on a buch of Sonic's so she knows the hulls.

Thanks too all your answers.
So Hydromotive Q 4 is not a good prop for Sonic?? Anyone have a par of bravo 26 for sale ? Thanks Göran:cool-smiley-026: |
I can say my 386 did not like the hydromotive props. Way too much stern lift, it couldn't cary the bow.
|
props
I have heard that to, now I know. thanks:cool-smiley-026:

I'm running 25p hydros on my 35ss. I was running 24p bravos. I have stock 502mpi's with SM exhuast.
The boat handled better with the bravos and got out of the hole much better. the hydros slip getting out of the hole and I need to put the tabs all the way down.....but they improved my cruise speed by 3mph and my top speed by 2mph. (tested them back to back with a Gps). so i stayed with the hydros for the better cruise speed. |

Hallo.
Have you had the time to check for the props? Regards Goran.. |
As far as props:
Lordstanley74. I have a 24p but it has been modified and is not a true 24 anymore. I want to rework it (if possible) and will end up keeping it as a spare. Sorry I couldn't help. Sonic35SS. I have only one 26p not a set like I originally thought. Will keep my ears open for a set for you. |
Thanks, I hold my thumb and hope you hear something.
It's Ok with hydromotive to.better then the old 22" mirage, new engines now, need other props. regards Goran... |
