Confused
I'm looking at purchasing a 1992 Sonic listed as a "30SS" The seller faxed me a copy of a survey from 2003, the boat is classified in the survey as a "SS 32" In the Survey the boat measured 31.5'
Did Sonic make a SS 32 or 30 SS in 1992, can anyone help me out on this? thanx |
It would have been a 30SS or perhaps a 31SS. There has never been a 32.
Around the early to mid-nineties, the Coast Guard and Reggie started adding molded swim platforms into the overall "length" of the boat. Who knows what came first, the chicken or the egg, but 30/31 hull has been virtually the same for many, many years. |
I remember seeing a post on hear talking about the older model Sonic's I am pretty sure it is a 30SS But I thought they were in later 80's not 90's. your best bet is to call Bruce at Sonic with the numbers from the boat. A 31SS messures 30'6"
