Shore Power Question.....
When I am plugged into shore power should I have the battery swithes on or off and the two breakers also.......on or off ?? Thanks again guys.....
If you leave battery switchs on then the batterys will be charged. What are the 2 breakers for???
Make sure you have the "Main"breaker in the off position. This will protect your boat and the power cable. Once plugged in turn on the Main and the other breakers that you will need. Leave the battery switches and the 12 volt breakers in the on position. While you are in the slip turn on the battery charger when you have lights and other 12 volt accesories on. Hope this helps.

But NJ, if your gonna just charge the batteries, turn the mains and breakers off. Charger is generaly hooked straight to the battery or main switches to the cables coming from the batteries
You need to have the main and battery charger breakers on to power the charger.
