31SS ride
 

A guy at the Cumberland Poker Run took me for a ride in his boat Saturday evening. It had 575's in it. The ride was very impressive. We were coming back from Harmon Creek at about 85mph and it was pretty choppy, the boat seemed really solid.

The 31 is the best riding for it's size. If I had my choice I actually go back to a 31 they are a ball of fun and you don't get beat up and stilll have some amenities too.

I wouldn't swap for my 386, but it's a great boat. I ran close to 70mph in 6' seas in a poker run with mine. It's not called the hardbody for nothing.

What is the fastest 31 that you guys know about?

That was a good looking 31. I was in the purple flag 31. I have 496's and run everyday between 70 to 75.

A 1998 31 with arch runs around 100

What does it have for power?

Exmark31 I dont remember seeing another one where did you dock? Do you like the 496's? Are yours the 425Hp ones? Anything you don't like about the boat?

You guys with the 31's do you have any cracking or stress cracks anywhere on your boats?

You are going to see stress cracks across the decking primarly in the rolled corners. I have not seen one that does not have these. Unless it is brand new on the trailer. I have never seen anything bad come from any of these so called stress cracks.
