Comparing measurements, the 358 and 386 have 2" more berth height and is 11" longer than the 31ss.

East Coast,
Curious why the 2300 miles away is an issue on a boat that is so far below market value.

Distance usually isn't an issue when searching for the right boat, we went to Kansas, Kentucky and finally Michigan for our 31ss. Right now, the issue really is in what is the right next boat for us.... We don't live near water and the next idea is to garage it near water or put in the water..... We're looking for land near the water to put up large garage and also looking at docks, storage, etc.... basically confused!!!!

I went from a 28 Pantera to a 31 Formula PC very nice boat but I regrett it every day. I miss the go fast boat and am trying to find away to get another. It is nice having the boat in the water and being ready to go. We have 4 kids, they are getting older now 10-22. How is the cabin in a 31 compared to a 35? How high is it in a 31?

31ss cabin height is 57" at point you just enter cabin. 358 at that same point is about 74".

East Coast B,

I have a 45 Sonic for sale here in annapolis, which is very close to grasonville. My former boat was a 30 Sonic which I believe is the new 31. The 45 is the best that Sonic has to offer. The efficiency , ride and performance would never disappoint you. The boat is a 93, sold new to a friend of mine in 94. I have owned it since 99 and have totally upgraded and updated the boat. You would not be able to tell the boat from a new one. The new engines have 230 hours on them. I would be more then happy to show you the boat on Thursday when you are in town and take you for a ride on it. The boat is being offered for sale at $94,900. I have receipts for work done that exceeds 120K of improvements over the last four years. The only reason I have considered selling the boat is because I purchased a fountain 48 express cruiser. That being said I will always be a Sonic Guy. Please contact me, David Weiss, at 410.703.2363, if you would like more information or would like to see/ride the boat.

I will personally vouch for Dave's boat, it is immaculate and has been maintained with a wide open checkbook. If you can swing this boat it is absolutely the best deal on the market. (And I am not a Sonic guy ) If I could find a way to fit it on my 31 foot lift it would already be gone.

That yellow 358 is down to 55K asking price. I was considering buying the wife the little 18' "bay boat" she wants for 25K-35K. I think the 358 would be a better deal! Two big sonics at my dock would look sweet....
I gotta stop watching the classifieds.

Default 38'6 For Sale

East Coast B, you should check out the 1997 38'6 that is listed for sale under sonics. It has new everything, and is in great condition. You will not find a cleaner Sonic for the money. The $74K is negotiable!!!! The boat is located in Solomons, MD. That is about 1.5 hours south of Graisonville, MD.
