If u look at the high bidders activity with the seller, it's 28%. They obviously have a friend u will be bidding against. I'm still going to try it though. Great, I can already see I'm going to be an owner of 2 boats again:rolleyes:

45sonic 11-22-2008 10:02 AM

Sure helps the resale value of my boat alot. :angry-smiley-038::mad::mad:

If you need a caretaker for your old boat I can take care of it free of charge:drink: How come you are not out on the sleds today??

GO4BROKE 11-22-2008 08:19 PM

That boat was $85K or $89K at Lake Cumberland 2 summers ago. All these cheap boats are killing our resale values.

GO4BROKE 11-22-2008 08:23 PM

Good catch on the activity with the seller Mike. ALL the bidders except the first one have abnormally high % with the seller. The 2nd highest bidder has 100%! Definately scamming a bidding war. Still may be able to be had cheap, you know they bought it low.

I bet if you were to call them on this boat it would still be available! All their auctions are "no reserve".

carrboy 11-26-2008 09:21 PM

Exactly:rolleyes: Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

45sonic 11-27-2008 06:34 AM

It's still available. The high bidder can't buy it

And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

GO4BROKE 11-27-2008 07:08 AM

Happy Thanksgiving!

I just noticed that boat has stand up rear bolsters. Eats up cockpit space, but very cool.

I don't know if I would deal with the seller again though. Would have to be a helluva deal. Plus I would have to extend my garage....again.

45sonic 11-27-2008 10:25 AM

It also has a built in carrier in the engine compartment for a spare drive.

You can still buy mine and I'll take yours on trade and don't worry so much about the garage. Carrboy said you can keep it at his house. :D:D:D

GO4BROKE 11-30-2008 02:54 PM

I would have to worry about sticky spots on the interior if I parked it in carrboys garage!

I would consider a trade if it wasn't for the garage. My boat bay is 44x12. I have considered the 45 at Hutchinsons boat works also, it has the extended swim platform, makes it about 48' plus trailer.

My next construction project is a 4th bedroom for the baby coming end of april. Boat stuff will be on the back burner next year.
