Dose anyone have or had a 31SS with 502's and had or installed GIL Exhaust.

I started installing it today so far I ran into an issue on the outside of the port motor. The water inlet pipe is hitting the top of the alternator?? I see that there is a bracket on CP's web site. Does anyone know if this will fix this problem?
