Having some interior work done
 

Well I dropped the boat off today to have the headliner fixed and WHOA.... that sh%$ is expensive. They guy was really pushing this nice think carpet instead of the vinyl... I kinda liked the idea but am worried it might look really shag-a-delic.:eek: He showed me a sample of the carpet and it looks very thin, but well crafted... has anyone else done this change (from vinyl to carpet)?

Can you post an example? If it's more like a wool fabric, I think it would look good.

I dont have any pics right now, but I will get some ASAP and post them up. I can tell you the fabric is NOT real thick (height wise) but it does look dense. Does that make sense?

I vote for the vinyl.

I second the vinyl. The vinyl headliner looks a lot better and is cleaner.

Replacing Cabin Headliner
 

I am having the very same problem with the cabin headliner of my Sonic 26 Prowler and sure would like to speak with someone who does this kind of work. I am in the Caribbean and am willing have someone flown down to have it replaced.

I would greatly appreciate any help to put me in touch with someone that may be able to assist.

Call Bruce at Sonic. He already spoke to the person who is going to repair mine. He still remebers installing the headliner in my boat. (It had some special order things installed when it was built) .
