swim ladder

how are the swim ladders attached to the bottom of the swim platform ? are they just lagged in ??

my boat didn't come with a ladder, and i'm wondering the best way to mount one.

The one I have on my 31 it bolted all the way through the platform...Never use it..... wish I never ordered it on the boat:drink:

My 45 is also thru bolted. The bolts have small flat heads and are not very noticeable.

thanks guys. that's what I figured, but I'm just trying to picture how the top of the platform looks with the heads exposed ?? how do they lay on the non-skid ?

anyone have a pic ?

do the heads of the bolts burn your feet when you step on them ??

No, they shouldn't get that hotter than your cleats.

I actually removed my ladder over the winter and had a gelcoat guy fill in the holes. Unless you have small children that can't reach, it seems easier to just step on the tie bar to me.

I try not to step on my cleats.....LOL. :drink:

do you still have your old ladder ?

I have a 2 yr old that is just starting to get in the water. so I figure I need a ladder.......and a grab handle. right now it's hard to get up using the tie bar, cause there is nothing to grab to help you up.

Yes, I still have the ladder and the stainless grab handle. They're yours, if you pay for shipping. Contact me at [email protected].
