Prowler Cabin
I've seen a couple of Prowlers for sale here and on Speedwake. In the pics it looks like the head liners are loose, or coming down. Is this common to Prowlers and is it an easy fix? Feel free to beat me up if this is a dumb question but before ya come out swinging, keep in mind I've never had the opportunity to crawl around in a Prowler
Also, how would a Prowler react or handle +,-700 hp? Thanks! |
I don't know about the headliners but there is one in A Bay NY with a 800 hp motor that is supposed to do mid 80's

I've been in a half dozen prowlers and never saw any issue with the headliners.... Maybe a problem with certain year models?? All that I had been on were from 98 to the early 2000's...

The headliners are foam backed from the factory. The foam side is glued directly to the fiberglass roof after a while they will start to seprate. The foam just gets old and rotten, and seprates from the liner. Boats that were kept in doors and very dry seem to last longer.

My former Prowler is running a 500EFI w/ Whipple and is doing great.

Thanks |
They are heavy straight bottom boats that react well to decent power. Looking for a match for that monster you built huh?

And yeah.... maybe :D On 12/15 I'm closing on a little place on the Oneida River about 2 miles from Oneida Lake. And a "little more boat" on the lift would be a good thing. Also in the midst of a domestic mess (think I might have told you a little about it about 2 years ago). And, I still need to sell the house I'm in now. So, $$ will be a bit tight for a while but I can't stop looking !!! LOL |
Yeah its me.
I was in the midst of going 30ft with twins and something else major came up that I have in the works. Congrats on the place...waterfront property is way to go and good luck with the rest of the b.s. Time to buy is now...might as well take advantage of what is out there...let me know if you get rid of the nova...actually might be interested as a hold over till I can go bigger again! |

Barre is putting in a major dock at camp. Think it's 8 feet wide and out 44 to 46 feet. Shouldn't be any problems docking there next summer. Take care Bill |
I like them 26 and the 31 I could use the extra space
