If I remember right, there are small numbers on the cable itself. Pretty simple to replace. Just watch when removing it from the dash gauge you don't drop any parts into the black hole behind the dash, the black hole bilge! Disconnect from dash, from outdrive and then some silicone in the through hull fitting on the transom.
Additional note, livorsi makes a reversing part that mounts on the outdrive. When you trim down, rather than the dash indicator going up, it will go down! It isn't cheap and you have to reposition the through hull fitting. Depends how much you use the dash gauge.
