Looking at '99 Prowler and for Advice
Have a Scarab 22 but have wanted a Sonic and particularly a Prowler for a while. I'm 63 years young and for the wife and I it would be just right for cruising the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay.
Anyway, found a nice clean Prowler with 395 mostly fresh water hours . Original owner has stored boat since he purchased and pictures surely verify that. Has 502 MAG EFI. Thinking about putting on a ProCharger Supercharger when I get it. Anyone have experience with the ProCharger supercharger on a 502? What performance gains can I expect? Is it worth the money to do this upgrade? Would adding headers improve performance with or without the supercharger? Will the Bravo 1 handle the extra horsepower? Any feedback would be appreicated. There was one with a procharger for sale last year I think the owner was claiming mid 70s for speed. I don't know how the drive would handle it but I looked at one with 800 hp and that one ate drives

it looks like you've already done your homework ,I'm sure you'll be happy with a prowler

I have a friend with that set up. After 2 rebuilds and 3 outdrives he finally has not had any trouble. His 272 baja will run 84 mph on gps with 30 5 blade.

What year is the Prowler you are looking at? It matters.

Ha, I bet that was in the title the whole time and I missed it. You made a good purchase. Mine was a 1999 and it was rock solid.
