Replacing Prowler Fuel Gauge with Digital Fuel Flow Gauge
Have a Standard Horizon Digital Fuel flow Gauge on my Scarab 454 carbed motor and a Farnia Fuel Manager gauge in my Maycraft 17/E-Tech 60HP/CC. Both are awesome improvements over standard fuel gauges. With the low fuel alarm you have to be an idiot to run out of fuel.
With the 502 Mag EFI I thought I would not be able to get true fuel flow from a FI engine. But I looked at the fuel system diagram and it is easier then I thought. Installing the fuel flow transmitter between the primary fuel pump and the fuel filter should give me true fuel flow since the excess fuel is not returned directly to the tank but back to the fuel filter. Therefore, the fuel flow transmitter is not in the FI fuel rail charging loop.
So I ordered the white faced Farnia Fuel Manager from Gander Mountain.

Am really looking forward to getting it installed?
Anyone one else using the Farnia Fuel Manager?
