Prowler Bravo One Speed Pickup ?
 

When I got the Prowler, the B1 speed pickup hose was hanging out the drive. The original owner installed a separate speed pickup.

Have since got the plastic tube to lower unit adapter and verified the bullet hole to adapter passage is open. I plan to use that bullet hole pickup for my speedo and remove the other pickup. Whoever did the install, did a nasty job.

Do prowler owners use the B1 pickup or, like the original owner, install a separate pickup? If so, why?

I would replace the speedo with a GPS speedo from Livorsi, easy install and spot on accurate.
