Removing the oxidation from the non-skid???
 

Can anybody give me some ideas for removing the oxidation on the non-skid walk around?? I own a 26 Prowler that I am trying to get ready for a boating season in Maryland and I can't seem to get rid of the yellow on this surface. All other surfaces look great. I have used both manual and electeric to apply/remove different waxes but yet nothing seems to improve. Ideas?? Anybody help would be greatly appreciated.

My 1990 Banana had a non skid deck... I used the 3m cleaner.. several coats; followed up with mothers wax.... Again.. wax on non skid... but the surface did come back to life

Is it oxidation or stain? Oxidation isn't usually yellow. Have you tried Power1, or FSR (fiberglass stain remover) ?

I used power one last year. Cleaned up decent but probably need a few more coats. What application methods has everyone tried with the power one?

There is a non skid cleaner, can't remember the name that I use, works real well. Will get the name off the bottle this weekend and post.

Its definitely oxidation. I have brought the color back on the deck of the boat but not the non skid. Not sure if it may be the type of pads for the buffer im using or not. I have tried the 3M Oxidation remover. I will look for the power1 this weekend and see what I can do. I haven't had the problem of removing the oxidation from any other part of the boat. Just the non-skid. I also normally just use my boat wash when cleaning before I wax. I havent tried the Non-Skid cleaner. I have seen two types.... 3M and Meguiers. Anybody use either of these before??
