Leaning side to side when running in bigger water

I notice this some but my girlfriend does worse. Has anyone with a sonic 31 noticed there boat leaning hard left to right when cutting across a channel? I never feel unsafe but do notice the nose isn't carrying straight. I was leaving the moors this weekend cutting straight across to the party cove and it was pretty choppy when this happened. I have 2 things I think could cause it 1) weight (we had 8 people on board) 2) power (we have older 454's and maybe they don't have enough power to get us up and running on the top of the waves. We can run around 50 with that kind of load on the boat). Would appreciate any questions or comments. Or just a simple "this is normal"

Never noticed it on mine.. most we have had is 6 people but we cruise at 65 so I cant comment on the speed part... Could be combo of speed and weight...

That happens with cross-winds and a strong tide might cause a little of the same. Have you noticed the wind at these times?

Winds were 30 mph that day and I was running perpendicular to the waves.

Next time you notice the boat leaning one way turn around leaving the tab/drives setting the same. I expect the boat will now lean the "other way" as the wind is likely what is causing the problem.

I agree. Also check to make sure that the drives are equal to what your indicators are showing on the dash, mine were off a little. It dosen't take much.
