Scaled/weighed my 31 sonic if anyone is intersted in the information
 

I scaled my 31 on a CAT certified scale yesterday so I could work out some trailer issues.

*roughly 130 lbs of fuel and holding tank water
*7 life jackets
*jumper box
*tool bag
*box anchor, ropes, bouys
*twin 454's
*bravo 1's

-TRUCK (ON EMPTY WITH JUST ME), BOAT & TRAILER - 18,100 LBS

TRAILER AND BOAT - 10,340 LBS
According to Loadmaster my trailer weighs 1440 lbs
So Sonic alone weighs 9,200 lbs with above mentioned gear

Thats pretty heavy towing a 31. I figure loaded with fuel, water, gear and trailer, Im around 19,000 plus less tow vehicle.

Tow vehicle is a 05 Ford F250 weighing in at 7,760 lbs. Sonic are HEAVY boats and especially the older ones like mine. Plus I got a wing which someone told me weighs about 250lbs. It onyl cost $10 around here to scale. Swing by a truck stop and do it sometime. I am keeping my cert's in my truck incase DOT ever stops me.

I put mine on a CAT scale and measured exactly 10,000lbs on an aluminum trailer with 1/2 full fuel tanks, no water, but all the usual gear.
