a buddy of mine is looking for a project boat, which this definitely is. I was just curious if anyone knew any history on this boat, its a repo.

What is he looking for? My 31SS may be available and is the most reasonable one out there. It looks like the wife is going to get her Monterey after all...So much for my new toy!

A 31 is what he originally wanted. What year is your boat, what engines, what are you asking? have any pics you can post? Let me know ASAP, he's ready to make a move quickly.

I dont know the boat at all but for 50K.....seems to me like it could b worth only half of that.

yeah, that's not the price he's looking at it for. It less than half the advertised price. Even with the price just concerned that its going to cost a ton to fix, especially being that its missing the whole control panel, all gauges, etc. and if was underwater all the wiring would also have to be replaced.

I did some research on the boat when it first came up. first look at those engines, they are not 496s, they are 300hp mpi, notice the intake is off to the side, the 496 covers are just sitting on them.

The gauges are the smart craft system, that is how they came.

Missing everything, no covers, no stereo, no carpet, missing panels. Mold and rot in the cabin, boat needs vynil from front to back. They claim it never sunk, but there is 2 inches of sand in the cabin.

There is a mint 2003 358 sonic in AZ on a trailer for 65k, the boat you mentioned is worth about $15k IMO

Its cheaper to buy one complete.
