I'm surprised the bimini top is still holding on picture 1! That boat looks like fling at 200 mph!
Old school is right!! Never seen a Sonic with bow railings or cabin windows on the side!
When did they first start making Sonics? |
and what year did a Sonic do 200 mph. That second post cracked me up but so true how does that bimini last running full speeds? ( pic 1 ). It really looks like its hauling the mail. Agreed but the GPS showed 191.8 mph. Try an Anchor Shade anything above idle - I want to see that pic. Anyways what year is your Sonic it looks very clean.
congrats on the new purchase
Looks like an 84 or 85. The model 33SE raised deck. The 33SS was the one with regular deck.
GlenCal,
Congratulations on the new boat, best of luck with her.. Where will you be boating? Rick |
Boat is a 1986 33SE, which is the raised deck model in those days. Twin 370 454's with BW trannies and TRS drives. Was owned for a long time by the brother of the owner of Sonic boats. Boat is in very good condition but not a show boat.
