Replacement helm for Sonic 30SS?
 

My steering has gotten horrible and I would like to replace the helm and cable in it. Does anyone know what kind of replacement helm I should get?

Cable ? You don't have hydraulic steering ?

I don't think so. To be honest I am totally ignorant on the steering systems. I know I don't have any hydraulic ramd on the exterior of my boat.

Go with a quality hydraulic like imco it is worth everypenny in safety and your sonic will track straighter. Plus if you ever add more power you are already good to go steering wise.

Well found out I have a rotary steering system in my boat after talking to CP Performance. Now I just need to find out what length cable I need. Anyone know off the top of their head?
