MISSING 2012 36 Sonic Center Console

Hi all,

This boat is missing and where abouts unknown. It went back to factory to complete build and punchlist items early 2012. Was suppose to be back in NJ Mid-April. Frank from Frisini Motorsports said it left Florida 5/6/2012 at 6am..... This past Saturday Tony Frisina from Frisini Motorsports said truck broke down in North Carolina and would be back to NJ yesterday -latest today..... STILL NO BOAT???? I am getting no communication from Tony and want to know where my boat is. HELP!!! I know the offshore.com is a strong community so if you have seen or know where abouts please reply.
Thanks
Jim

Your boat isn't missing so before you go off on your high horse know the following facts......the truck broke down in North Carolina and I arranged for your boat to be picked up off of the freeway at 9PM at the drop of a hat...special thanks to Rodney for that.... I then picked your boat up after the weekend and lost a tire and axle the boat is currently in NJ in my possession and was awaiting a tire and axle parts to which I have completed and Tony and I haven't been able to coordinate a pick up due TO MY BUSY SCHEDULE.....might I remind you all of this has been done at no charge to you so if you would like I can impound it and charge you a daily storage fee if you don't appreciate anything that all of the Frisini Motorsports crew along with myself and some others that jumped through hoops to get it to you.....

On another note I can drag the boat to you by itself not relly sure how much will be left of the bottom by the time I get there but it's your call as a matter of fact I can bring it to you right now and charge an emergency service charge to pick it up and finally to deliver it to you in one piece...the ball is in your court!!!!!!

And you can inquire about me I have been around here for a few days!!!!!!

JGM36CC 05-16-2012 06:20 AM

Hey finally someone knows where my boat is and actually communicated with a paying customer.

3 questions/comments
1. Who r u? I will call you later this morning
2. Since I don't know u, I will not get into the timeline and details of my boat build.
3. If the boat was delivered 100% complete, the boat would never of left NJ and went to Florida would it? Of course I am not paying!

Lastly- Have any buyers for this thing? Boat will be listed once I have back in my possession.

Jim

Jeez Sean...Really?! Chill man.
The guy just wanted to know where his boat was after being MIA for days with no communication. I'd be plenty worried (and pissed), too.

"And you can inquire about me I have been around here for a few days!!!!!!"
That part was funny. :D

rchevelle71 05-16-2012 09:47 AM

Somehthing tells me there is more to this story, good thing this guy didnt buy a pantera. Compared to this guy Berk was plenty patient:party-smiley-004::lolhit: In Sean's defense, I am sure he was not happy about all of the issues he had towing this thing, and probably was busy trying to correct them. A phone call would heve been good, but whats done is done.

Sean is one of the good guys in this sport; been around since before it even was a sport. He's been to the four corners of this continent, and beyond doing everything in this industry from sales to rigging to racing to transport; and then some.

You are only working for someone, if they pay the bill for something they contract you to do. There is always more to the story.

JGM36CC 05-16-2012 03:58 PM

OK.... Sean and I spoke a few times today. We are ALL GOOD!!!

Thanks
Jim

You are right a simple phone call did clear everything up.....the problem was that the owner and I did not have the correct numbers.....I had written his down wrong and the messages I left were falling on deaf ears!!!!!

Again feel free to ask the owner if he is dissatisfied in any way!!!! He isn't going to lie for me!!!!!!

Am I the only one that sees a pattern with Frisini Motorsports in regards to their lack of honesty and credibility? The man buys a brand new boat and has to ship it back to Florida for repairs, doesn't know where boat is and is chastised for inquiring where his boat is. The worst thing is the Sean guy acted like he was doing the customer a favor for doing his job.... WTF? Is this the guy who's transom cracked? (IDK)..... Bottom line is the man was not happy and because of the lack of communication and support from Tony and the factory he was pushed to the point of having to post on OSO to get results..... Then he gets verbally abused by another Tony Frisina/Frisini Motorsports employee.... Buyer beware!

sean stinson 05-30-2012 04:21 AM

You two need to get a life Jim and I have become friends at this point ......42 I think you should do some of the $.88/mile transport work that you say is fair and I do believe that you will find you can't pay your insurance or fuel bill....but you're the brains of the outfit so have at it Einstein....

And Cat I don't work for Frisini Motorsports or Frisina as an employee!!!!

But the 2 of you have my number so feel free to call me if you want to discuss it or tell me where we can meet and we can meet face to face......

vagrant 06-04-2012 12:15 PM

Sean has always been professional to deal with. He has been in this sport a long time. He is a standup guy. Good luck to all.
