What's a '99 45' worth?
 

This just popped on e-bay and is at a lot a 1/2 hr from my house. Have passed it several times in the last month or so.
The lot mostly does smaller fishing boats and guessing they're way off the mark on their buy it now price of $159K.
By double maybe???
Looks great in the pix's but $160K will buy a lot of boat these days and especially for a 13 yr old Sonic. Thinkin I saw a 42' Outerlimits for less??

I'm not positive, but I think I saw this exact same boat for sale privately for 79k last fall. With a broker, they tend to double the price from my experience. ;)

Somebody is...:bong::bong::bong::bong: if they think that this boat will bring that kind of money. A 45 Sonic is a very nice boat, but I just don't think that there is an azz for that seat right now!! :D

I saw that boat on Singer Island (outside West Palm Beach) in June hooked up to a big toterhome with Indiana tags I think. Boat was huge, but the graphics/color scheme made it look old. I honestly thought it was older than a 99.

Can't see a 1 being the first digit in the asking price.....

went to see one in jersey last august. can't swear it is the same boat, but same year, same colors, and ... exactly same graphics on the side saying ending with boy whatever the word was... in fact was listed at 79k for over 1 or 2 years.... I think all triple in that year range are edvertised anywhere from 75k to... 160 k! but real buy price? my guess would be between 50 and 60k...

Interesting reports guys. Sounds about right.

While we all would like to see our boat values stay constant the reality of it is not going to happen. I have a 2000 45 that I think is worth more than what the market does.

This boat has been for sale for quite a while and for a lot less than they are asking.

Attention shoppers...., we have a blue light special, well not quite but....

Back on e-bay w/a $147K buy it now price. Interestingly, I was watching a "Power Boating in Paradise" episode where they were covering the Jacksonville poker run and had a blip of this boat. Never showed it running though...

Appears to be another dealer that knows nothing of offshore boats. Was one 5 mls from this one that had a gorgeous O.L. sitting out rotting in the sun and another one 30 mls opposite direction w/a '89 IMP 31' that is gorgeous for................., $45K :helmet: Did have a full mooring cover anyhow but it is now 1/2 way off so I'm sure is full of water and can probably figure depreciation by the day :whistle:
Another local boat lot w/an older 31' (I think) Cigarette thats been sitting out, uncovered in their yard for a couple yrs now. Oh yeah, bow down too so the cuddy is toast among who knows what else.
Probably has 1000gls of water in it. Right by US1 and is sad to pass it.

That boat is originally from nj and I know the original owner that bought it new it was for sale a few years ago for 79k and I have to laugh how the eBay ad states never in salt water I find that hysterical Cause they ran that bought in salt water the day they bought it

The 45 on ebay came out of New Jersey and was for sale for72K and had a fresh 500 EFI that went with it but no trailer.Now it's in Florida for 100K more with a trailer. Boat name BAD BOY BILLY

And still for sale. Imagine that.

The other local dealer w/the IMP has let the mooring cover shred off it, so it will finish it's journey from an over priced, pristine boat to junk soon. Hate watching that happen.

back on ebay this week! it was back also 2 weeks ago, pulled 39 something with trailer, reserve not met with the buy now around 100 k. this week, much better ! buy now high 40, but without trailer...
I'd buy it at 40 with trailer, but not at 48 plus 10 or 12 k trailer...
