What is a 1995 Sonic 31' worth??
 

I saw a 1995 sonic that has been sitting for several years, twin 365hp mags. Trailer is junk. No cover on boat, it's in really rough shape. Interior is shot. Gel faded. What would a fair value for it based on the engines running OK? And is it possible to buff the gell back to new condition? At what point do you know it's gone and has to be repainted? Top end estimates???

I think its worth around 50K if it runs out O.K....the cosmetic stuff isnt that expensive I did my interior for 1k new cover $250. If you need to paint it it can get expensive .....Too Old Is doing one right now I'd call him directly!If you need to go through the motors I stuck about $7000 in the pair in mine,but did most of the assembly myself (with Crazyhorse).

From what I have seen, I think an offer of 45k would be reasonable since it doesn't have a trailer.

If its that rough offer 40K and work up from there. Gel coat can be buffed, from the sound of it, it would need to be wet sanded and then buffed, lots of work! Gel is much thicker than paint, so more can be done with it.

As for speed, my boat has 365's and runs 73 on speedo(I wish) and 68.1 on GPS with B1 props and 70.0 on GPS with Mirage Plus props.
