very familiar with the Lauderdale area, but looking to make a run south. Any recommendations other than Monty's (order of importance docking, fun, drinks, food)

You can tie up on the main wall at Bayside. Lots of options there.

Dock at Miami Beach Marina and cab over to the beach!
