2000 26ft Prowler
A buddy of mine has the 26 prowler and is trying to see if he has the right prop, or if there is a better one for his boat. Its a 502 mag mpi all stock with 1.5 bravo 1. He has a 24p bravo 1 on there now, and he said is kind of a dog to get up on plane. What are you guys running on these to get good results? Does the boat respond better to a 4 blade or 3 blade?

Do a search. This was JUST discussed.
I found it for you: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/p...r-502-mpi.html |

Believe it or not a 22" is what mine came with, the boats a pooch with a 415, mine would only run "low" 60's. I swaped that out for a 525 and was in the low 70's, that boat needs a lot of HP.

My '99 Prolwer was stock when I bought it and the motor was rough. HGs changed and ARP bolts were not torqued properly. Water in the oil, compression test, etc. lead me to upgrade. Only got 56 GPS out of it with K planes and B1 22P. Upgraded motor with Dart Pro1 aluminum heads, IMCO aluminum exhaust and computer upgrade. Got 63 GPS out of it with B1 24P. Just built a 540 Stroker for it. Am putting boat back together now but anticipate being in the 70s with a B1 26P.
She is a pig to get out of the water if you don't have at least 500HP.
