Found it looks only auto cars had it. And ford called it CFI. After that flashback I'm gonna go crank some nirvana, and do burnouts in the ha parking lot :) |

My 1983 Monte Carlo had T-Tops. (Not an SS model, but with 305 V8, even more rare with such.) I have loved them ever since.
I did a LOT of research this summer on the T-Tops on the Lincoln Mark-V that I stumbled upon. I actually found the guy in PA that installed them on the only 5 Lincolns ever to have them. They were a dealer sold kit for Ford LTDs which had the same roof lines. The guy even had some spare parts. It was a 460 as well; and I should have bought it anyway and just saved it. It was actually TOO NICE to make into the rat rod that I was aiming for. I ended up with a Corvette instead of Lincoln rat rod. |
I always liked the Mark V, that front seat is like sitting on your living room sofa :D I had a 71 Buick Riv that was a behemoth to. That car I really have some sellers remorse, fun car and what a tank.
ya know I hate to admit it but the other cars I always liked were early 70's wagons. Maybe an estate wagon or Caprice with the clam shell rear gate. I also like the 64 Galaxie XL (wagon or 2dr) I mean really . . . how brilliant is a tail gate that swings down OR away to the side lol man this thread strayed a bit lol |
