502 supercharger
 

Is anyone running a supercharger on a prowler with a 502?

The guy I sold my boat to years back has one on it now.

It was a 1999 26' Prowler with an HP500EFI. He now has a Whipple on top of it.

Do you know what top end speed he is getting?

He is way high in altitude on a lake in Montana. The boat lost nearly 10mph from when I had it in Virginia.
Best I had out of it was 72mph.
I think he is running 75-ish now with at least one engine rebuild, and punched out to a 509.

There are a handful of other ones out there with various supercharger setups. Do a few searches in this forum.
The Sonic 26' Prowler isn't meant to be a flat water speed demon, no matter what power is in it.
