Latch size for Cabinets 358
 

Anybody know the latch size for the cabinets/closet doors on the Sonic 358? Want to order some new ones but the boat is shrink wrapped for winter right now.

on my prowler it's a 1 1/2" hole. the door is 3/8" thick.2 set screw's to hold it in place. same size under sink (16"x19") door and for the instrument access door (13 5/8'x12 1/8') a lot smaller door. I also need to get one. the only name I could make out on the latch is Sweden (no part #) it has a plastic recessed turn thingy. the tag on the doors VIPFLEX CORP MELBORNE FLORIDA. PART # SR # A-0338 and another # 407-254-5880 hope this helps. I can't imagine they would use different size latches unless the door is huge. if you need anything else, my boat sit's in a heated garage so I can get to it easy enough. Dave

I ordered a latch from boat outfitters in Ocoee Florida, part # 064-3182. it say's small 1.75" stainless flush latch-non locking. fit perfect. I also ordered a gas shock for the top of the cabin door, part# 060-3529, 7.5" also fit perfect. I feel like I have a new boat again. it's the little things that bother me.
