2004 386 Sonic with 525s... props?
1 Attachment(s)
My buddy had the drives stolen off of his 386 while it was being brokered. Since then, the boat has been off the market.
He is in the process of replacing the Bravo drives as well as the stolen props. However, he can't remember exactly what he had back there. 26" Bravo 1 4 blades is my best guess for a starting point. Thoughts? The boat is going back on the market as soon as all of the parts are replaced. Attachment 575833 |
I would think 28's
My 382 Formula with 525's ran best with 28 Bravos Similar weight Tell him to put Arneson's on it.... |
go with the 28's to start... I used 26's on my 31 with 8.2 merc
|
Remember, the 386 Sonic is a straight bottom boat.
|
labbed 4blade 26 for my ole 38 best all around props , I ran the ocean so I like to have mid range acceleration , when I bought the boat it had 28's and was a bogger
|
Had an 03 with 525 ITS ran 26 labbed by BBlades. Saw a best speed of 78 mph.
|
I would say 26 P -- mine has 28 s bravo ones but I built 620 hp dynoed engines for it. IMCO extension boxes - with Bravo XR drives
|
26" would likely be the best. 28" is probably a bit much with a load.
