does anyone have the copy of the jan. 2003 "boating mag." article on the 31ss sonic ? if so can some one scan it to me or fax it to me . send me a pm and i'll give you my fax # if necessary.

I have it in my hand and I will scan it as soon as i get back to my office. I had copies at the show Tony!! Couldda grabbed one in Miami.

What approx. top speed will the 31ss run with 496 H/Os? And where will it cruise at 3500 rpms?

Good luck in your search, the wife and I spend nearly every weekend aboard ours in the summer and fall. Even have a camping propane heater for those cold fall nights when no one else in the marinas. We figure that is the best cruising time, and often the best fishing.

Top end w/496HO's should be mid 70's, maybe upper 70's propped right.

31 Sonic w/HO's @3500rpm 52.1. Top end with 28" props 76.5. I have the article, but no scanner....
