Just bought a 97 31 SS with 502'2 I can't wait to get it out on the water. I was so impressed with the way Sonic built thier boat I had to have one! First time I saw them was at the Miami show and when I went to the factory I was sold. Wish I could have afforded a new one but out of my budget. Now i got to get rid of my 2001 25 Baja Outlaw! Anyone interested?

I love my 31!!! Congratulations. Those 502s will get you into the low 70s!

Well I had a 42 in mind, but the wife says it's too big for the type of boating we do, so I don't know now. I am 98% sure that it will be another Sonic though. :D

But I will have to start another thread on the topic, this thread is to congratulate mjmbodine on becoming a member of the club!!:) ;)

Thanks everyone. I bought the boat from a friend of a friend in N.C. He started his own business and has no time to boat. He lived in my area (northern Va.) untill about a year ago then moved south. the boat has been well maintained and in great shape I woud say about a 9. My buddy knows the first two owners of the boat and said they all took good care of it. I will mostly use it on the Potomic river.

I live in Herndon, and just bought land in Haymarket. Lets catch up. Make sure to make it to the Sonic Party in Annapolis in two weeks. My boat is on blocks in Woodbridge at the moment, and the trailer is in my driveway for an overhaul. (I somehow had a feeling you were in this area.)

No. I have a 26' and keep it at an undisclosed location. I hope you do not have a Rocket Trailer. I have dumped about $1800 into just parts for that damn thing.

Sounds like we need to have a small NoVa OSO get together. I live in Vienna. I would like to meet everyone at Red Eyes, but will need a ride out there. Still on restricted permit until June 19th.

Of course, I'll probably be in Solomon's getting the 35SS prep'd for the season.

43Thunder will haul it from Syracuse for me next weekend. Can't wait to get it down here.

Brian, whats up with the trailer? I was lucky, mine didnt come with a trailer so I bought a new one from Towmaster/Nextrail and its been good to me. And we know you would never have your boat at Full Scam Marine.

Dyno I really like what you did with the old design and made it look like one you would see today.

The trailer is great now. As I stated before, it is a Tillett trailer now, not Rocket. I will NEVER EVER own another Rocket trailer. Biggest heap of aluminum crap ever under a boat. Mine is now in top shape with the best of everything that could make it worthy; including new bunks, front cradle bunks, new axles, 4 wheel SS/Cadmium disc brakes, SS brake lines, modified master cylinder, new tires, inner fender mud-flaps, and new lights. Heck I even polished the thing.

Friday and Sat weather is suppose to suck a$$. I won't drop in until Sunday. If you and the mrs. are still around you should come down Sunday to Solomons and watch the Blue Angels with us. It's about an hour drive south of Annapolis.
