cool!

East Coast B 07-14-2003 10:15 AM

How about difference in towing the 31 compared to the 35, is it much easier or not much difference??? Can't wait to move my boat and seriously shop for a sonic!!! Excellent pics of your boat on the water!!!

HiPerf2000 07-14-2003 11:16 AM

that paint IS awsome!!!!

Wow....almost looks like pics out of a sonic ad somewhere.

Thanks everyone! The actual picture looks a lot better, the website resized it when I uploaded it and it doesn't look that good.

GO4BROKE Yes the sound is coming through the cabin speakers.

Bill, glad to hear that you are having fun with the boat.

509 SC good luck putting the shower in. Let me know if you need more pics.

East Coast B I'm getting 69.2 on gps with 26 4 Blades at around 4600 - 4700 rpm's. I'm going to try some 25 3 blades this weekend and if those don't work, I plan to send the 26's to be labbed over the winter. The 35 didn't have the 6' of headroom, so we really didn't lose that much headroom. My truck definitely likes towing the 31 better. The boat weighs 1400lbs less and the aluminum trailer weighs 1500lbs less. My 2500 HD still handled the 35 fine though.

Hey Brian, Well done...boat looks fantastic! Nice cabin upgrades.
Sorry about the impeller...Hugh

bn 07-15-2003 08:34 PM

Thanks Hugh! But my impeller didn't go, Love Machine's did. I will look into replacing mine in the next couple of years as preventative maintenance.

Love Machine 07-15-2003 09:54 PM

Yeah, I lost 4 and a half rubber tabs off the port impeller. I replaced it and now the temp gauge cycles between 160* and 190*. Those pieces of rubber are still in there and I'm gunna flush them out before the weekend.

I was told that the output of the impeller pump connects to a brass tube on the rear of the engine. Supposedly, this tube has honeycombs inside to keep big debris out of the engine. If I disconnect the hose at the pump and at the brass pipe I can flush out with a garden hose.

Does this sound right?

hpoffshore 07-16-2003 08:11 AM

Yeah, Bill...you can pull the hose off the circ.waterpump and back flush the oil cooler(honeycomb area), that worksm in the majority of cases.
Hugh

Thanks Hugh.
