Sonic 31 and nose cones?
 

I did a search on cones and got some threads suggesting in some applications the cones add too much stearn lift and slow the boat down. anyone running cones on a 31? did they effect the boat in any bad ways? I really dont need them from the speed angle running under 80 but I'm going to paint my drives this winter and thought it would be a good time to add them if nothinh else the look cool.

How do you paint your drives so it will actually stay on?

I put them on mine, but at the same time did motors and blowers so I cannot give any specific data on gains or losses with just the cones.

pure energy the question is did it give you too much stearn lift? Who's cones are you using? can you post some pics?
