358 sonic speed and its
 

does anyone know what the speed is of a 2003 358, with 500 its and xr drives, or without its, i looking to see if its worth the money to get the its.

ITS should buy you 2 mph.

2003 386 with 525s and ITS ran 82 for me last year on a test drive.

358 with 500s and ITS I would guess at 81/82.

Does the boat already have external steering? If it does it's my opinion it's not worth adding I.T.S. However if it doesn't and your thinking of adding external steering and standoffs I think it is worth looking at. The big benifit to I.T.S. is the cleaness of the application and u can continue to use silent choice. Imco standoffs have no exhaust ports.

i allready have a 26 sonic with a 500, i.t.s and xr drive. i like the look , but i m wondering if its worth the money, im haveing drivr shaft seal problems with the one i have i my 26, they have replaced the drive seal 4 times and nobody knows why. i cantell its starting to go when i have to keep filling the gear lube all the time then it starts to come into the bilge filling the bellows.they have tried re alligning it and anything else they can think of but it still does it. so now im wondering if i get 2 its set ups am i going to have the same problem.

I think the drive seal problem is a function of the XR and not the ITS. Do you have a drive shower on your 26? If not Sonic has one made, I believe, made just for them for use on the XR. Keeping the top of that drive cool is important or the seal will actually melt and puke the drive oil back into the boat.
