358 Air conditioning
 

Anyone have a photo of their AC installation on a 358? I'm looking for any photos of the seacock, strainer and pump mounted in the engine compartment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have a photo of mine but I can tell you how they did it. The through hull is mounted below the starboard engine (you should see a raised plate on the keel),The pump and strainer is one unit and is mounted on another plate which is secured to the bulk head in front of the starboard engine. The bulk head where they mounted the pump/strainer is near the fuel tank so be careful if you are drilling. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Did they mount the thru hull under the starboard engine or forward of it?

Any idea how far forward the fuel tank is? I'm just wondering what length screws I should use.

Sorry for the delay. The thru hull is under the engine but closer the the center stringer.It is just below the power steering pump. I do not know how thick the bulk head is. Call Fred at Sonic he would know.
