I bought it last Aug, it has been at LOTO since your buddy traded it in. When I called Sonic about the boat they still call it one of the Jolly boats. :D

My project

2nd 24 twin O/B I've owned.

They have huge cabins for a 24' boat and what turns me on about them.
Sleeps 2 very well and goes like stink w/twin V-6's.

1st one was a complete re-rig/re-power and was an awesome boat and treated me well for the 7 yrs I spent trying to break it in half on Lake Erie.

This one was supposed to be a daily driver but was not.

Finishing band aiding rigging and plan to splash it this weekend to see what I have.

Here's mine after doing some upgrades on the trailer.

Hey Jim Looks great. New trailer or just some new parts??

Jim Diesel 04-24-2008 04:23 PM

Bill, Just a few new parts-fenders, wheels/tires, hubs/bearings, tail lights, and a acid wash for the trailer...

GO4BROKE 04-24-2008 08:12 PM

What did you use for the acid wash? Did the aluminum look like new? Did you get the fenders from Rocket? My rocket is a little rough looking, needs some TLC.

Jim Diesel 04-24-2008 08:21 PM

My trailer is a Loadmaster, I bought the fenders from McClain Trailers they are good to deal with and they have a new C-channel trailer out thats nice.

I took the trailer to a Truck wash and had them do it, it gets the aluminum back to a natural shine and takes the yellow'ing out. The guy there is also going to polish it up for me.
