Time to revive this thread. The wife and I just spent 10 days in Michigan, towing about 1800 miles total with the new Loadmaster. We started with 3 days in Traverse City at the Elmwood Township Marina. On the first day, Lake Michigan was calm, so we ran 150 miles round trip up to Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petosky, and Harbor Springs. We also anchored at Power Island a couple of times. It's beautiful boating up there. I highly recommend it, if you get the chance. We also did a day trip out of Tawas on Lake Huron over to Caseville in the thumb. Finally, we attended the OPA races in St. Clair. Next up is LOTO!

Great pix's and sounds like a great trip. Glad y'all had a good time.
I used to be a Great Lakes boater and there's not much better boating than that. |
