Yeah, RIP Fred. My wife called Sonic for two new gas tanks in a hurry and Fred tossed them in the truck and drove them to Miami himself.

Ya gotta miss Jay Ross, Fred and the bunch that made Sonic great. Hope the new company can match the excellent service and family atmosphere of the old Sonic co.

I called Fred from Bimini one day and said I needed a starter, didn't know what to do (being from Ohio) he called around, found me a starter, told me how to ship it over and basicly got me back from the middle of nowhere. Too bad he's gone.

The funny part is that I was just restoring an old boat, 1988. Yet the helpfulness of Jay, Fred and everyone there was simply amazing. I guess I still owe Sonic a new boat order for all their help. One day I hope to get there. <gg>

Last I heard Fred is now raising Lama's or Pakadurm's ( don't think the spelling is right) What a drastic change From FIBERGLASS to MANURE!!! I quess you could say from some of people that I have had to deal with in the Marine Industry that the change might not be that Drastic.

HOT BOAT, Please elaborate on your post. My father's new 46 is at the Sonic Factory. They are playing around with the X on the ITS. They just put IMCO Shorties on it to get more RPM.

what kinda of money do you need to spend for that set up i saw one posted in nc at around 190 it sold , but dont know how much it was a diablo , yours sounds nice the place in nc also has a 31 with ho around 130 ?
