My Boat Shows About 76-78 Fully Loaded On Gaffrig Speedometer, Twin 496 Mag Hos 26 Pitch Bravo 1 - 4 Blades . What Kind Of Top End Speed Is Normal For This Rig ?

My 04 with ho's labbed 26,s runs 74.4 gps full of fuel and gear. I think I could get a little more with a better set of labbed props.

P.S. 4 batteries, a/c, power inverter, electric head. and a lot of stereo and gear.

Looks Like My Gaffrig Must Read A Little High , About 2 Or 3 Mph As Compared To Gps...has Anyone Ever Used A Radar Gun ???

how can the 496 mags and ho's run the same speeds and both use 26p bravo 1 labbed props ?

i'd say the hos will probably run 1 or 2 mph faster on GPS if that. its not a HUGE hp jump from one to another, the ho's have more holeshot though

no sanity don't you think it would be more than 1-2 mph? 496 mag 375 hp and 496 ho 425 hp . that would be in a twin set up 100more hp ?
