Help with downtown area launch ramps
 

We were thinking of hitting the Cumberland this weekend with all the people and music downtown and were wondering where the best place to launch would be without going through any locks....... any info would be appreciated. :D

There are several ramps along the river, east and west of downtown, but none have docks that I know of or much parking. Plus, whoever parks the truck will have to swim out to your boat, not a good idea. Anybody else have any suggestions? I would use the lock, just be back by 10:00 PM to get back on the lake unless you can reserve a place downtown Nashville. They have a dock you can tie up to. I think Hamilton Marina is who you call to make reservations.

Shelby Park has an area to tie your boat up to while you park your truck mosy of the time (if the water is up up it will be under water)
