Re: who's going to Knoxville?
Sorry I missed last weekend, just couldn't pull it all together to get up to O.H.
Jenna's was cool the last time I was there...sounds like a fun cruise for Friday night. For anyone that didn't go last year, John was cool and a great host. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and hopefully will be a good day for everyone again this year. I hope to see you all over there this weekend. |
Re: who's going to Knoxville?
I am leaving at 5am Saturday morning picking up another boater at the 840/40 merge at 5:30. If anyone wants to caravan out let me know..........

Re: who's going to Knoxville?
Talked with John this week. Seems like a really nice guy. Lots of fun activities planned for us.
AND, the SEARAYPALOOZA thing is going on near our marina on Saturday night, so it sounds like a full contact :drink: weekend! KennyO, thanks for the pics. Anybody wanna convoy early afternoon (1:00ish)? Steve |
Re: who's going to Knoxville?

# 2 positin to knoxville
I will be meeting Nashvillebound on the interstate @ I-40 near Lebanon.
Anyone who might need a ride would be welcome. I have a crew cab f-350 with a couple of seats. My wife and I are going, gonna see how the Bullet likes the river. I look forward to meeting some of you guys. I will be in the #2 position behind NB and his big 450 sucking up diesel fumes for 100 miles. Looks like fun, 300 bucks of gas in one day........max out the BP card. Michael |

Re: who's going to Knoxville?
I plan on filling up truck and boat today..... most likely make the trip with one full tank on truck.... Weathers looking a little iffy....as long as it does not rain while in tow I will be fine. (itsa mental thing)

Re: who's going to Knoxville?
Hey Jeff,
You Know how the summer weather works. At 5:30 in the am there is very little chance of a thunderstorm. even by 9:30 when we get to knoxville very little chance. the summer weather is usually between 1:00 thru about 5:00 so basicly while the run is on. When the weather starts to cool down in the evening all the buildups and convective activity shown be on the way out. So I doubt that towing in the rain will happen but we could possibly get one on the run. We were on the back in that cove you showed us, MINE LICK, and saw some come up yesterday. I have the radar on my phone and basicly figured out to go to the south end and we missed all of the rain. So I will bring all available technology to keep your boat safe and dry. I will call you today, If I dont reach you I will be on the interstate at 5:30 just about 12-15 miles up I-40 from lebanon. I will be there so dont worry. ON time. Be well, MP |
