Eufaula? Conroe?
 

Is Eufala or Conroe in any better shape than the rest at this time? And are they worth making a road trip for? Willing to travel . how about Clear lake?

I live in West Houson and don't go to Clear Lake. The name is misleading. Brackish water, and very shallow in many spots outside of channel. Mostly no wakespeads untill out in bay. Do not recommend.

Conroe is fine and can be fun. All bulkheaded so, VERY choppy. Pappas on lake is fun for food and music. Not as clear as say Joe Pool, but still fun.

going to watch the weather and research conroe. I may have to ask around on the TOPPS forum.

Bring it to Conroe. Lots of the boys here boat on Conroe and it is a pretty bad a$$ time.

Thanks for the encouragement. Is the lake near flood stage or any chance it will near closure? I guess the damn weather may still screw up another weekwend.I will be searching for the scoop.

So far so good. The lake was fine as of today. Here are some pics from last Sunday. It will be crowded like a mofo this weekend though.

looks like a nice crowd. would love to see some of the boats and meet some new folks. Can anyone suggest a place for boat slips with nearby lodging?

Clear Lake is always open and there are more places to tie up and enjoy the scenery. Redfish and Nassau bay are always hoppin!

Best Western on 105, no more Hotels on the Lake since Del Lago closed earlier this year.
