LTPA 2008 Poker Run Schedule
 

The Lake Travis Powerboat Association has released its 2008 Poker Run Schedule.

April 26th - Pre Season Run

May 16th - Party at Jonny Fins
May 17th - Poker Run

June 21th - Poker Run

July 19th - Annual Carlos'N Charlie's Run

August 23rd - Poker Run

September 20th - Final Run and Year End Party

Clay, if you had to attend one, which one would be the best? We were thinking of coming to Lake Travis to spend a long weekend and a poker run would be perfect.

We are coming down from Ft Worth to do the May 17th one.They are supposed to have a helicopter to take some cool pics.

I'll make as many of them as my job permits,
look forward to seeing some of you out there again this year!

South Austin Marine will be sponsoring the May run. Kenneth told me there will be 2 helicopters filming the run and a few other surprises.

If you want to see lots of big expensive fast boats, then attend the one in July. Carlos'N Charlie's kicks in extra money to the pot ($5000?), so many non-locals make the trip.

If you prefer a smaller crowd, come in June.

I plan to have a boatload of Claymates for the May run! :evilb:

4th Stop: Lakeway Marina

5th and Final Stop Back at To be determined where there will be dinner, Awards Banquet and Party!:evilb:

The May 17th Run is going to be Big and the only one I know with Helicopter Coverage for the Event.


We will be having 1 Helicopter at the event. I will try to touch base with Kenneth to Clarify. Things are coming together and we are looking forward to a great event.

Every Registered Boat will get a Free Poker Run DVD included

We have a group coming down from Ft. Worth for Heatwave. I know of several from Conroe as well. I can say the two DVD's we have been in produced by this crew were awsome. LOTO Thunder on the Lake, and Shakin the Dam NM. It has been so much fun showing friends and family the poker run coverage from the air. I know they are excited in Austin.
