My parents have a lakehouse on the OK side of Texoma and I keep the boat nearby. About one mile from the house to storage and another mile from storage to the ramp........nice and easy.......probobly 30mph max. Boat shop also only 5 miles from storage. I don't see how anybody consistently trailers long distance. I trailered my old 24 from TN to OK and I swear it took two years off my life. I try to keep things as easy and stressfree as possible. I would like to do a vacation somewhere though with the boat.

I'm like you boat stays a mile up the road in storage. the funny thing is we bought the boat in lewisville and drove back to arkansas and that was a white knuckler thru metroplex. this is our first vacation with the boat in tow, bound to be a good time.
